Exclamation Passenger Door Courtesy Light Wont Turn Off

As stated the passenger door courtesy lights do not turn off at all.
Even when the car is off.
I accidentally squished the housing of the door light and now it wont turn off at all.

Also its on constantly at a dim setting compared to usual.

Help please.

Thanks.

Maybe if you read it and received proper education you would understand "at all" to mean that in no situation will the light turn off unless there is no bulb or disconnected from the wiring, which would be common sense.

Try taking off the housing of the lens as you may of squished the contact points.

I assume the driver side is okay, so it may also be the door switch as well... Then again if it is...then your window would not respond at all either if you open/close the door.

Had the same issue happen to me today with a brand new 3 day old 2014 BRZ dealership service people trying to blame it on the LED's which is BS because they are same voltage and consume even less power and noone else that i know had the issue with their LED's..and bulb works perfect on the driver side but not on the passenger side
Help please if someone knows

Did he put halogens back before going to the dealer? did the warranty cover it? did he put LED's back after it got replaced and it works fine now?

I am not expert but i had this module issue after installing LEDs on RSX-S back in time. ever since that, i don't install LEDs in interior. module itself is very expensive. my suggestion is to visit different dealer but put back to OEM bulbs
