Stay off the throttle, lol. It's not too difficult. I average 32 and still do 75ish down the beltway and give it some. Can do better if I really wanted. Light throttle goes a ways with direct injection.

6 weeks later, and an hour at the dealership ruining some people's day, GM is taking back the block. Refund being issued today. Time to get back to work.

I don't really notice much of a power gain. It might be there, it might not. It sounds a lot better since I ditched the sound generator which was a bit surprising. I'll most likely drop back down to the low 30's now. Only power mods I have is my rev works header, borla exhaust, drop in filter and inlet hose if you count that.

I'm averaging around 30mpg too. However recently I've started hooning and goofing and dropped to 23-26mpg the past few fill ups.

I'm looking into headers...quick question I know on my old car the aftermarket headers had a 3"outlet but my sick exhaust was 2".. I had to replace the some exhaust system before notice its real potential. Is it the same deal with the frs?

I average 23-25 most fillups with a lifetime average in the 24mpg range. Yeah, I can get 30mpg or more, but the car is too damn fun to not stomp the throttle.

If I could have, I would have. When we bought our house, the M had to go. it was a sad day. I've owned a lot of cars, but that's one of the two that I've had that I miss.

Got hit with a warning today by a state trooper.

I was going to school on 95 and I was going 83 (speed limit is 65).

Lucked out there. Trooper told me that I had a clean record and that he wasn't going to mess it up for me.

If and when we meet, remind me to show you my warning when I was doing a 100 and got away with a warning. I wasn't in the frs then.
