What Redline/Fuel Cut Off You Running
I am testing out new tuning, and my previous tune maintained stock fuel cut off at 7450. The new tuning is quite the change but also has a higher fuel cut I believe at 7800.
Since I am Mr. Conservative, today I was driving bit hard in first hit 7700RPM and almost sh*t my pants. Whats your feeling about what fuel cut off and what to set it at?

i hit 7800 a lot... i know that power isn't being made after 7000, but it makes me drop back in my sweet spot of the turbo. Regarding cuts i would love a harsh cut to actually throw flames/bangs ( no im not kidding), but ive been told Ecutek doesn't have the choices of running both cuts (fuel+ ignition together or something in that context )

7700 because I need a longer 2nd gear on the track. Street driving I shift 6500-7000.

Mine is set at 8,000rpm but I rarely rev it that high. But when I do, man it pulls like a mofo.
Since I have a SC the power continues to climb past 7,5k rpm. It's a 25whp increase at 8,000rpm from 7,500rpm |

Mine was set to 8000 RPM on both my Visconti and FA20Club tunes, and I had no fears of reving it to that to maximize the hump in my horsepower curve:

You don't need to rev to 8k to maximize your torque curve ... Your curve is so broad... James doesn't think I need to raise my limiter and my turbo spools slower than yours

mine will probably be set at 6800-7k. I'm conservative when it comes to pushing the stock motor past its limits. In a few years when I no longer dd the car, I'll drop in a built motor and push it much higher

With the turbo I'm looking to put in a 3.91 FD so I won't have to wind out 2nd gear so much in autocross. I plan on running 7800RPM as the redline, but will be tapering boost a bit above 6800 just to keep stress off the engine.
