Hey everyone currently on 18x10 +44 on 245 40 18 and have no issues but I'm wondering what kind of camber adjustment would it take to run 255 35 18

Currently =

Camber -1.8 f
-1.3 rear

Kw coilovers
Drop is the same amount that come out of the box. Haven't touched height adjustment. I liked the height out of the box.

Thanks!

Measure where you are at now with clearance.

Keep in mind that tire manufacturers (brand a vs brand b) may measure actual width differently . 245 isn't always a 245. Research the actual width of the tire on there now and compare to your new tire choice

Hey guys quick question on fitment,

Enkei raijins
Front 18x8.5 +45 w/ 245/35
Rear 18x9.5 +45 w/ 265/35

I have seen those setup ran but guy was on sportlines, I'm currently on stock suspension and undecided on what route I will be going as far as suspension in the future. Thanks.

Yesterday, I was saying that I may want to get the XXR wheels but my plan just changed. I am going to get either Enkei Raijin or T6S with 18x8.5 ET45 (225/40/18) front and 18x9.5 ET45 (255/35/18) rear. Tires are most likely Hankook V12.

Can some tell me whether this setup will be okay on stock suspension? Will they flush with the front and rear fenders?

Regarding the wheel lugs, what is the size and length that I should get?

Thanks.

@Asphalt TG, I'd go with the smaller tire sizes like @Gps360 is considering, that's alot of tire for the FRS unless your FI.

@Gps360, no need for spacers, you should be good with stock suspension. It's close, but should fit and won't rub the fenders. Check inner clearance to see first if you need to add spacers, but don't think so.

How about the wheel lugs? The guy from the tire shop said the OEM lugs could not be used for the new wheels.

Regarding those racing lugs, what length and size should I buy? The are so many for sale in the stores but I have no idea which to pick.

Like these below, you don't need long ones, just standard size but make sure they are the correct thread pitch 12x1.25mm. Search for "tuner lugs or lugnuts".

I went to the wheel shop this morning, the sales guy told me I should pick 18x8 et45 with 225 front and 18x9.5 et45 with 255 rear.

Any problems? Wheel are enkei Rijan.

Reason is 18x8.5 front will make the front wheels stick out a bit of the fender????

Anyone have 17x10 or 18x10 +38? Or at least those sizes with offsets around +35-44? I have 17x9.75 +25 and looking to go wider in the rear!

See post above yours...

Unless he has an FR-S, I wouldn't worry what he thinks. That's why you're on the forum, for FR-S specific advice right?

10" is really tight in the front. Some guys are doing it, but most are the stanced crowd. You'd need the right offset and coilovers. In the rear should be no problem even with springs, but right offset is key. (I have 18x9 and there's room, plus lots of folks are running 9.5 on the rears already)

Check the wheel directory for that size and click on the link which will bring you to the thread for that setup.

This is all overwhelming/confusing to me. There are so many different routes to take. I'm new to owning a FR-S, and modding in general. From what I've gathered a 9" wide wheel is an underpowered car? I want "flush" wheels but not the cost of performance. I hate how the OEM's are tucked inside of the wheel wells? I see so many people running so many different H/W/O's, to the point that I don't know which route to go. I want an 18, Pretty flush with the fender, I don't want to make fender mods, and want a wheel wider that the 7" factory. Also, I plan on adding Eibach Sportline within the next week until funds are sufficient for coilovers. Has anyone done a similar setup? Or can anyone help me?

Thanks

JoCruz
