YES, we know it was made with the intent that it would be a drivers car, we know, we know. But not everyone goes to the track every weekend. I more than likely will probably see the track once, maybe twice my entire time owning this car. I didnt buy it because it was the "perfect" track car, i bought it because, 1. It looks amazing, 2. power can be added easily, 3. lightweight, and 4. It looks amazing.
I love music, i knew from the beginning that i would install a sound system in it. Am i going to go crazy? NO. But let ppl do what they want with their car. If u have nothing to provide on a person's thread, and only want to bash, take that **** somewhere else. Im so tired of seeing nothing but bashing on this forum. Makes me not want to be a part of it. Seriously. |

awesome mod.
"it loses balance" "it ruins the trunk space for tires!" stick a twelve where the spare tire goes and all the weight distribution is still just fine. and so what of theres an extra 10 pounds. omgomg car sucks now! anyone who put a cat-back on their car lost like 7 pounds or so in the rear so a sound system would actually even things out lol. I don't need the trunk space for track gear as I don't track my car so that's no a concern either. "ricer mod" oh that's funny, so if I have a headerback and tune and intake, lowered, sways, struts etc. that's tasteful but the second there is a sound system suddenly its ricer status? maybe I want to listen to bad ass quality sound. if youre just on the street is the system really gonna make a difference in performance (I mean... really?) |

There's a difference between booming obnoxious subs that wake the neighbors and a single sub that creates quality sound. I came to this thread to get ideas for my future build, and there are some beautiful setups in here. If you don't like that, there are plenty of other threads on this forum that may be more your speed.

This is what i have in my car. It's really well built and i don't get any sort of rattle from the car either.
Got it from my local audio shop. He made it so it would be removable as well so if i ever go to a track day i just unplug it and take it out for the weight savings! |
