Subaru already said a front facing seat is no problem, so don't worry about front facing, I'm just questioning rear facing, but man rear facing is hard in ANY vehicle, not just this one... Honestly, not even the newest xB can do rear facing that well...

He was smiling for the picture...
Honestly, the back seat is probably good for sitting young kids without child seat. You can probably fit a front-facing child seat but the child must not be too large. Booster should be better but I think we need to level the rear seat first with some padding. As to the rear facing seat, the best location to fit it is the center seat of the rear seat on a 5 seater sedan. Anywhere else is going to post a problem. |

Im 6ft and 'tried' getting in the back, but it just wasnt going to happen.
With me sitting in the front there was ZERO leg room in the rear But! This isnt a car for taking the family shopping so it doesnt bother me Me personally.... id like to see the back seats dumped 350z style. I wouldnt ever use them and would rather save weight and have a bigger boot. |

Back seat is where all of my crap will ride like backpacks, laptop bags and brief cases.
I will consider those rear seatbelts to be a joke prop installed by the factory. In all seriousness it will be handy for those random times where you need to drive two people somewhere quickly. Getting all four seats occupied seems impossible tho. |
