Relatively local guy still trying to sell his ceramic coated revworks header. Reduced his price from $450 to $420. I'm tempted to offer him $400 and meet at a brewery so I can buy him a pint.

Biggest problems. I have the money, but only just. And my car is still a lease, so I can't install it for at least two more years, so I'd just be buying it to let it sit in my garage. But it's so tempting!

There will be more available in 2 years at likely better prices. If you change your mind, you will be stuck with a part you can't use and have to sell at those lower prices, taking a loss in both time and money. 2 years is a long time. Let this one go.

If they weren't hiding in boxes in shame, I'd take a pic of all the parts I (still) have for a project I was going to get to with one of my Neons... back when I owned some.

I'll only gather parts over the winter for a spring install now.

Let this one go.

P.S. Don't look at the Twin Hitch I have that I have plans for some day, I swear...

Noticed the past few days that I’m getting a new unusual noise in the car. Not one of the normal ones.

When I’m either stopped or driving slowly like backing out of or pulling into a parking spot and turn the steering wheel almost to full lock I’m getting a noise out of the front driver side wheel well area.

Almost like a rubbing noise. Or maybe a click? Not sure how to describe it. :/

I suggest you jack up the front of the car, and see if you can reproduce the sound.

Back-in-the-day, my younger brother bought a used 1961 Corvair.

He said it was making a clunking sound and asked me to take a ride with him. We had just moved out of the gravel lane onto the hard surfaced road ...... when I yelled for him to STOP THE CAR!

I got out and the front wheel had only two lugs left and they were lose.....

THE END

He's actually doing some interesting stuff. I get the gist of the iterative process but I don't yet understand the need for, or the relationship between all the inputs.

I'm focusing more on explaining and then justifying my approach to a really simple model that aims to say "If we neglect all these things, we err significantly on the side of making the pulley seem more important than it actually is."

Then I do the math to get a realistic but small value.

I made a math loop and went around and around and around like a carosel.

Mine doesn't have any pulleys out of protest.
