If you find the relay setup, 99% of the time you just find the signal wire itself that allows the relay to trigger, and then you just cut it and wire it to a fused wire behind the dash.

Worst case scenario you can buy a 20$ premade harness online and install it yourself.

I want to activate the rear fog triangle on my 13 FRS. I can purchase the light socket and wire harness and run it to either the fuse box or the front fogs. I only want the rear fog to light when the front fogs are on. I think I would prefer to power it from the fuse box if possible but could splice into the fog light itself if that is easier. What do you think? How would you go about it. Thanks in advance.

LED bulbs are really hard to recommend for the highbeams. ever reflector is different and every LED bulb is different the way they position the LEDs on the bulb itself. So what may work for 1 cars headlight well wont work for another. I would just leave the stock bulbs in there.

295$ for the full retrofit kit, that will give you properly designed projectors for HID bulbs that are a low beam and a highbeam (you would also have your OEM high beams leaving you with 4 highbeams!).

Is that worth it? Bulbs only?
And what brand you recommend?
Thanks
I've used LED for the high beams. I bought some from vled.com. They have LEDs facing out on both sides but you can rotate them to be facing up and down or right and left. They look great as DRLs and actually performed well as high beams.

Somewhere on this forum someone mentioned an adjustment wheel inside the cabin, that lets you adjust the headlights up or down. Do you know where that's located?

I know there's adjustments you can do with a screw driver on the headlights themselves. I just can't find the adjustment wheel in the cabin.

(I'm not talking about the cabin light dimmer switch)

These are only found on the BRZ with HIDs. The Fed does not have then. And I’m not sure abou the new LED headlights for BRZs

Just adding a HID kit will be about 120-140.

Doing a projector swap and HIDs is 295 which will get you much better results. Even better output than the Spydie lights with HIDs

I've been trying to do this too for years now. Still waiting for quality DIY instructions.

Do you want them to just trigger off the oem fog light switch?

Do you have to have the rear fog light on your dash?

Do you want a seperate switch to turn them off even if your front fogs are on?

I can draw a very camera basic wire diagram for you on how to do it.

I don't have fog lights but wonder if the wiring already pre-exists to the red triangle. Anyone know. Before this, I thought the triangle was just a reflector.

So you need a few things then.

Oem fog light switch.
6” wire harness that goes from the switch to the wire harness behind the dash
Fog relay

About 25ft of wire

A universal bulb socket
A light to bulb to match said socket.

Install harness / relay / switch in the dash (all plug and play)

Then run 2 wires from the oem fog light plug (taped up under the headlights behind the bumper) all the way to the rear triangle light.

Connect those wires to the universal socket.

Drill a hole in the rear light assembly. Then insert into the triangle.

.

Triggering off the oem front fog switch would be great.

There is a rear fog indicator on the dash but it ismy understanding it is inoperable.

No need for a separate switch.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Hey I'm in CT too

Rear fog light on my dash- no I don't care about that. I would like the rear fog bulb to turn on/off with my front fogs using the stalk switch. No separate switch needed. I rarely use my fogs unless it's necessary. A diagram would be great. I've run wires to my backup camera so I'm comfortable doing that. Thanks!
