is it the can shape helmholtz? if it is, then that sound is vvt rasp. you need the 'ball' design to get rid of it.

I have no helmholtz, coated, with the original nameless 2.5" catback. Had both a track pipe and their axelback, tuned by Moto-East, no rasp on my end. Sounds amazing.

Yeah it's the can shape. That's lame.. The Cosworth version has the ball design. I wonder what their reason was for not using it originally.

My guess is when they put their header on a car with the can style they heard the obnoxious noise and redesigned it.

If you bought it from nameless, they will retrofit the new ball style on for you. You just have to send them a video of the noise and ship it back. It doesn't 100% fit the issue but I'd say it fixes it about 80%.

Just wanna pop in and mention how happy I am with mine. I've had it on for over a year now, used for about 8-10 track days. The huge boost in mid range power is very usefull for drifting. Sounds great too. Turned torque dip into torque mountain. Here's a couple clips from most recent drift day (last week).

Supporting mods are Nameless 3" downpipe and Nameless Test Pipe (stock midpipe). Tuned w/ Ecutek on E85.

Also, this is in Colorado, elevation is at 5400ft. Had a chance to drive it in Texas last year and it hauled ass

Any tips on the new header install? Having a real hard time getting it to fit in between the oil dipstick and the fans. Scratched up a bit of the coating ugh! Had someone above the engine bay trying to guide it up, too, still got stuck in several places, like the engine pulley. Help pls

I have a quick question and I can't find the answer to it. This a pretty big thread.

Is the Nameless EL header compatible with the Vortech V2 or V3 kit? Will I have fitment issues? Thank you in advance.
