Same deal, I was taking it somewhat easy and still completely toasted my remaining brake pads in front. Brakes sounded horrible on the drive back home. Just parked it and flew off to LV haha. Heading back to SFO soon and maybe will get a chance to look at the brakes tomorrow when I get back. And maybe review my videos. I'm sure I scared @finch1750 enough on my first lap out with him. He didn't come back for another ride after that LOL.

I did go back out, just with @MyRx instead. Hahahah. I understand though. Too much pressure having the life of the Pres in your hands. Lol

I warned some of you about the brakes here. I melted the paint off the outside of my front Hawks at Seca. They kept working all day long for me though.

I really wish I could have been there. Happy to see all of the pics though.

yes the enormity of it all was too much for me. I think if Jessie hadn't said anything right before we went out it would have been fine hahahah.

All this talk of spinning led me to thinking, what the hell do you do if you spin in a AT? No clutch to dump into neutral. Do you just stand on the brakes and hope they lock or what? Lol

I think it was the third session and it was my first lap out. Though I went out a little late so you might have done 1-2 laps already at that point. Thanks!

Both day at MRLS - my mentors kept advising me to minimize my steering angle and instead use more slip angle to roate the vehicle and maximize grip plus get on gas earlier - look!! @CSG Mike and @CSG David - i did it here @T10!!!! Minimum steering angle and my car has rotated almost straight before the apex and full throttle already!! I need to work on this more!!

Yup Yup! I started using the white flag as my queue to really cruise the course.

Still needed to take a tour of the paddock.

Bro...you need more than W3s at MRLS (the track that is notorious for destroying brakes).
