Others I haven't done, but you might consider:

- Whiteline Positive Shift Kit (supposedly improves shift quality) - $30
- Sharkfin antenna - $100
- Xenon HIDs - $200
- Clear sidemarkers - $50 (aftermarket) or $100 (OEM)
I got my sharkfin for $44 on eBay! Good reception , sticks good, and good quality.

Not sure if this is standard, but I just discovered it on mine. Next to the dash lights dimmer there's another wheel that adjusts the height of the headlights. Never seen this before in any other car I've owned.

Must be a HID light thing as mine just has the blanked off hole for it. My wife's RVR has it and I actually have used it when had a heavy load in the back and was blinding oncoming traffic.

My wife was PISSSSSED as the whole family's (Son, daughter, son in law, and wife) cars were blue and she always liked to make a big deal of that. Don't regret it though as the Lava is awesome in the sun and loads of people say "love the colour".
I love the Hot Lava, BTW. Kinda torn when I see it but us old farts hafta keep it low-key.

Has anyone with an A/T attempted to burnout in manual mode? In normal automatic mode, if I hold my foot on the break, the rev limiter kicks in. However in manual mode, if I out my left foot on the break and right foot on gas, I can rev as high as I like. Has anyone else noticed and/or tried this? This is my first automatic vehicle I've owned in the last ten years so I'm still playing around and getting used to it.

Someplace on here is a thread about what to do with the AT. If memory serves me right you are pretty close to how to do it. Mind you it is an auto so not really gonna get the best burn outs no matter how hard you try but it can be done.

Yes of course. I have to say though. I've driven vettes with a/t & paddles shifters, and i think the 86 transmission and shifting might be better/smoother /faster. IMO
