I have been called an asshole before but, it's usually people that can't understand it's my opinion. If you don't like my opinion then...I can give a fuck.

1Up trays are 14 lbs. - so 28 lbs. for the rack with 2 trays.

My heaviest bike is 29 lbs. but most of them are in the 17-25 lb. range - so well under the limit.

Is that just the trays that you're putting on the tow point spikes or are you putting them on the 1UP base that goes into the receiver hitch? That base has got to add 15-20 pounds pretty easily bringing it close to 40#. I'm used to racks weighing in at over 40# and bikes being in the high 20's to mid 30's because mountain bikes are my thing. Either way just be aware of the load placed by a long lever with that weight up high bouncing. You'll probably be just fine but it's something to be aware of.

When you run into one asshole, you just ran into an asshole. When you run into assholes all the time, time to consider you might be the asshole. You'll probably grow out of it.

This man hitches. The only way to bikerack.

Also Saris is all american, and lightweight. Can't go wrong with that.

You should probably should have a basic grasp of grammar before you start calling people names that imply they are stupid.

I loved the flexibility of carrying my bike on or in my FR-S. That is what makes the car so good. I could drop my daughter off at kindergarten, go to work, and immediately mountain bike after work. The FR-S was pretty much the only sports coupe/car under 3000lbs that could do all that.
