The TPS isn't changing but for some reason the ECU outputs for throttle angle does hange. Not ever worked out the correlation but it's down to the ECU and not the throttle.

It seems to be improving in throttle response, but it feels odd in other ways. I may just need to readjust, so I'll give it a little more time, but if I'm not enjoying it by the middle of next week I'll flash back to stock and sell the OFT.

Anytime I reset or flash it take my car about 200miles to settle in. My throttle response will be really inconsistent. Especially when blipping for a downshift. Sometimes you blip and it’s like the car totally ignores you and doesn’t rev at all. My idle also dips and oscillates real bad while learning.

Hang in there, it gets better.

As other said after flashing or resetting ecu the first part of throttle response is a bit "dead" feeling.

a few drive cycles usually fixes it.

also try cycling ignition a few times at 15 second intervals

If you don't like the throttle feel with the oft tune then copy back the standard drive by wire throttle tables from a stock rom. The oft tune does modify throttle feel due to these table changes. But those throttle tables are safe to put back to standard.

It also changes fuelling timing cam timing

1. Do pedal reset/calibration procedure
if that doesn't fix it
2. Copy the stock pedal settings over to the tune and then do the pedal reset/calibration procedure.

Job done, no need to sell your beloved OFT.

I went back to v2 tunes, better throttle response especially in the lower rpm range imo and it seems to pull better. ive been on the v4 tune ever since they came out...the only thing I will miss from the v4 tune is the quiet cold starts.

Do you not know how to use romraider? Simply add in the quiet cold start and other little features....

If you flash the ECU back to stock, the same thing will happen again. Every time you flash or reset the ECU, it happens. Believe me, I flashed my ECU many times when I had my OFT. It happened every single time no matter what tune I was flashing to or from. Last night, I went to start my car for the first time in 3 weeks, the battery was dead, so I jumped it, and it's now it is doing the same thing since the ECU reset. It's not a big deal.

I tried, I copied what was done in the v4 tune to the v2 but it made my car run rough after the ecu learned, maybe I did something wrong not sure. ill come back again to see what changes I can and cannot make.

Yea you definitely did something wrong

Make sure your using the v2 tune and right definitions and copy what the quiet cold start does from the forum not from the v4 tunes. Also I reccomend having it using DI at idle if possible.

Just to come round on this, I kept the tune on the car. It eventually seemed to behave better and what quirks remain I've just gotten used to.

I noticed it when I first loaded the v4.0.3 tune on the car two months ago, and it didn't go away.
