I see what you're saying, no arguments here, but you may have another option in that I know Sharif, owner of ForgedPerformance, has told me he will price match any competitor's price for us, so something to think about. He's working on making that policy more prevalent on their site as well, but just contact them and let them know what you've found and they should work it out with you.

*Edit* I should mention that I think other places will do this as well, you may just need to ask.

So Cosworth apparently does not have a Stage 2.2 tune. However, when I asked about it, they said they'd be willing to work on the calibration. I'm excited now.

Anybody recommend against going only Header (1.3) + Supercharger only (2.0)? Would it be a less noisy solution?

For a truly quiet Cosworth SC setup..Cat back only ..stock header...
Having said that I'm not giving up my header.
I am currently running my Cosworth Header , 2.5 " nameless exhaust with the (gag) stock muffler..sounds like ass..and I know its costing me power..I think this is what you are asking...You might like the sound though ..who knows?

I am trying to buy a Q300 muffler to see if that is any better than the nameless ( overly loud) or stock muffler(ruptured fart can) as a daily driver set up.

I tried the full 2.5 inch nameless exhaust ,with Cosworth header and SC....absolutely wonderful race car sound...but overly loud for a daily driver..unless of course you are a complete attention whore ,(and there is nothing wrong with that) ,then go for it.

JerryIII has the complete cosworth /by nameless 3 inch exhaust and header...he mentioned he had a little trouble making the noise requirement for the type of racing he does...but was able to on his second try...I think he coasted by the officials ha ha ha

Bottom line ..SC with a cosworth/nameless cat back is glorious...add the header...or to put it a different way...delete the front cat and you have (IMHO) a track car exhaust system.

Ernie or Jerry, if I recall correctly, didn't your kits get shipped without instructions and the tune? If so, who did you contact to get that sorted out? Mine came in without both as well. I've reached out to FT86SpeedFactory and they're definitely working on it, but I figured I'd ask around just in case!

What Matt said..
Cosworth USA will send you the tune via email when you provide them with the specs on your set up..headers, exhaust, manual/auto trans etc..they also need your EcuTek license dongle ID number. I can send you a copy of the instructions if yo PM me your email..or Get Cosworth to do so...Chris was pretty helpful and very quick to respond..usually within the hour..can't ask much more than that...

PM sent! Thanks!

I called Cosworth USA initially and whoever I talked to said they didn't have the instructions and to contact the vendor I bought it from. I'm just impatient, excited, and ready to get this thing going.
