Well, if he did, that would make more sense...but since its a projector, its set up for low beams in this case, correct? It wouldn't have the same effect as a high beam

Taillights are often fused together instead of just sealed. Not entirely sure why. But to crack them open and paint them, you often have to Dremel them apart. I did it to my STI tails, but I'd want a junked or broken assembly to experiment on first before I do it to my BRZ.

It does need it though.. :P
