It moves!

first gear is usesless even with my sticky-ish Federal RSRR tires.
Second gear spins super easy too. Need some 3.55 or 3.73 gears.
Clutch feels soft, need to bleed again perhaps.
Reverse is hard to get into, even with the solenoid deleted, need to check trans fluid.
temp got up to 195*, never heard the fans kick on, need to dig into that.
AC belt jumped a groove, need to check that alignment.

Congratulations! Very cool build!

Did you and Collins get the AC working with the MRS unit?

Made its first drive to work today:

Bled the clutch for a third time, and drained/refilled the trans with proper GM MTF, I'm still having some issues with reverse, I can get over to the gear, but cant push up into it without the engine off. I think its signs the syncros or gears are bad. I should have a month of warranty remaining on the trans, going to try to push that issue through asap.

A side note, Though 3/4" is OEM size for a GTO -- I recommend a 7/8" master cylinder over the 3/4" for a firmer pedal and faster engagement. Noting this in my first post for future references.

I have an "issue" with my clutch. When it's cold, the pedal is really close to the floor. As it warms up, it comes up and behaves great... Have bled it multiple times and have not been able to figure it out. The shop that did my swap did another one with the same master, and the same "issue".

As a side note, the TR6060 factory fluid is GM ATF. I have been using Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF since day one and once the transmission heats up, shifts like butter. While its cold its notchy and a bit crunchy. But I have friends with Camaros and they tell me their transmission behaves exactly the same from factory.

Good note on the 7/8", I might try that.

How much firmer? My pedal is super light with the 3/4 master. I am using an OEM LS7 clutch kit.

I do not want a stiff pedal, but it wouldn't hurt it to be a little firmer, so you can get a bit more feedback through it.

The M12 T56 was originally Dexron III ATF as well. However according to recent GM TSB's, newer Dexron ATFs are not compatible, stating to use ACDelco Manual Transmission Fluid #88861800.

I have not made the switch the the 7/8ths yet. But back with my LS swapped 240z thats what I had and was the popular choice. There is a step between at 13/16th but I think with as light as 3/4 is, 7/8 would be perfect..

You wasted no time getting it out and about LOL!

How does it feel weight wise? Similar to stock?

Feels pretty similar. Haven't pushed corners at higher speeds yet, but slower tighter corners are easier to turn with the assistance of the throttle.

aaaannd this didnt take long....

I was hoping (since I already had these plug wires) that with ceramic coating the headers, and DEI insulation sleeves, they'd be ok... but after an hour's drive to work, two are toast.

The Fix
Get cut to length spark plug wires.
FAST 295-2422.
fast 295-2423, or something like MSD 32073.

Ideally with 90* spark plug boots.

Then moved the spark plug wires around the the front of the engine, supported them with insulated hose clamp off the head, then go under the headers.

I've since sold my CX headers and customized some Sikky headers to work.

Got my new 7/8 master cylinder in... almost.

Installed it, was bleeding the line again and kept getting air from the banjo bolt.

Went to tighten it... and the SOB banjo bolt broke off. So I'm waiting for another 3/8-24 bolt to arrive...

bah humbug.
