Can you pm me your info so once it's available I can plan the shipping costs to SoCal! Thanks! :happy0180:

B/c he's giving it to me! I'm sure its not going to be a pretty swap but it's pioneers like him that can take a brand new car and hack it up! It'll be a perfect moto for a sand rail!

We're building a V8 Turbo Corolla right now, I don't think the FT-86 should be too hard to do, the hardest part is going to be the wiring, but even then I have a full AEM EMS to run the car off of. - http://www.worksterautoworks.com/Wor...r_Journal.html

I just thought of one thing... so MR2's engine gonna be the donor? Then you gonna make FT86 into FF or MR car? iirc MR2's 3SGTE engine block is design for FF/MR and not FR layout. Ah... whatever

he can fit a w series transmission to his 3sgte with the good bellhousing, he's better dropping in a 3S-GE BEAMS from an altezza than his old, unbalanced 3sgte... but it's his choice

Ah... thanks for the info :happy0180: I didn't know if MR2's 3S engine can make it into FR

it can be mounted any direction someone wants, if they want to fab up mounts and brackets and such.

yes and after some research, i've seen plenty of non-inclined 3sgte swaps but I don't know what's needed to to it

This may have been mentioned already but, I don't think we will have to wait too long for crazy swaps to happen. There was a shop doing a 2JZ swap on the Genesis coupe within a few months of release.
