Im willing to do some leg work as I've been trying to get some interest in an 86 only day up by me. Feel free to PM me too!
That's the intention behind picking the name, to have room for expansion. The host club that we're starting this with is based in Florida, which is why we have a wonderful opportunity to start this up, but I have every intention to hit all the major Georgia Tracks and VIR as well. I love Roebling.

As above, who are you using as the host group? Is there a specific group you would like to work with across the region or if there was enough interest, would you do an 86 only event? I know some of the bigger tracks charge a lot of money but others can be had fairly reasonably.

It IS an 86 only event, as far as the time trials go. We're working out the details this week (there's a meeting going on right now).

I could probably help out. I'm not sure how much longer I'll have an 86.

I haven't seen you lately Raul. Going to chin in Dec? or RA thanksgiving weekend? I should be at both.. with the Integra.

Didn't renew my Chin sub, been sticking with PCA because I found it's incredibly difficult to get promoted if you keep club hopping. Only recently I went with a new club (which is the whole reason I'm giving this a try) called "The HPDE" and got promoted to instructor. Also, RA thanksgiving? Tell me more.

Chin event at Road Atlanta. Expensive but it's a fun weekend.

What about the NOLA Motorsports?

Also, if we could expand this cup to the above track that'd be cool.

Works for me, that's only 2.5 hours.

I think once the east coast is running, someone with a bit of confidence and connections will take the reins and run something central.

No worries, as VIR is less than two miles inside Virginia when you're coming from the south.

For anyone coming up from the south you drive through about 10 miles of Virginia (and that's really a drive back and forth across the border a few times) to get to VIR

And it's the best track in the SE so well worth it.
