My partner works for Toyota and I was not allowed to purchase the car through him to get employee pricing (which here in Ontario is invoice price + $800.00). Because each dealer in Ontario was only supplied with one or two of these 10 series FRS' they were being sold at MSRP.

I could have gotten any other car I wanted though, including a regular FRS for cost + 800. I find it curious that ANYONE in North America aside from someone VERY HIGH UP in the company could get a discount on this car. Curious, but not impossible I suppose. No employee I have spoken to was allowed to use their employee pricing discount on this vehicle. Believe me... I asked at about 5 dealerships.

Must me one of the first Canadians, congrats. Damn I wish my car was on the same boat as you. Where in Ontario are you located if I may ask?

I am very surprised such a low number made it to Canada. Knowing Scion Canada and the extreme delays we've been having, I was expecting them to only give us numbers 2250-2500 or something.

Thank you! Apparently, my car was in transit for a while. I'm located in Hamilton. How about yourself? I'm surprised with the low number as well, but I placed a deposit fairly early on. I did make a few requests for the badge number, haha, but I'm more than happy with a low number. First thing I'm doing when I take it home is installing the 2014 Standard touch screen head unit. I just picked it up this past weekend in the good ol' U.S. of A.

Congrats NiteRunner! Can't wait for mine. Apparently should be here next week...

How much did your head unit cost you? And did you get the maps featured enabled? I want to keep my standard Bluetooth connections running, I don't really care about the sound quality, but I do want the maps feature if possible.

Nice! Keep us all updated! The head unit was just shy of $600. The maps feature is enabled with a separate piece of equipment. My supplier wasn't able to order the NAV unit, but is going to contact me when it becomes available.

I'm being told $28,230 right now, just wondering how anyone got their's for less than that
Hey TRD4life, I was told by Allstar Toyota in BR, that Gulf States Toyota just charges more for delivery? Not sure why, but I guess each distributor sets their own. Also some regions are allowed different installation options. I don't think fog lights were an option but security was compared to others.
Still wonder how some are getting it at a significantly lower price than scion.com.

Maybe I'll see you around if I'm ever in NOLA, since I'm only 2 hours away. =)

Are those key fobs for the FR-S or for the iQ? I would think those are iQ's keys.
