From what I was told at this time innovate is the only company selling these and no other company is an authorized vendor so beware of giving your money to anyone because they do not actually have any kits.

Update:

Car dyno'd and running strong. We got the expected performance from the kit.

Water/meth injection added 20 hp and extra torque everywhere from 3,000-7,500. It also flattened out the top end even more. Good results today. Robi's tuner worked his magic. It allowed 3 degrees of timing advance among other things. This is with the smaller nozzle (5gph 313cc/min) supplied with the kit. Will test the larger nozzle (7gph 440cc/min) down the road with a progressive MAF based controller.

Time to hit the track tomorrow and sunday.

Nice, when can you share the dyno?

Where did you inject the water/meth?

Directly before the supercharger rotors. This was recommended by someone who has been meth injecting positive displacement superchargers for decades.

If you inject pre supercharger you:

1. Can inject 3-4 times as much as the rotors further help to atomize the fluid and the rotors actually take up a fair bit of fluid as they have large surface area compared to centri compressors on turbo and centri sc.

2. You cool off the hot rotors significantly increasing their efficiency (heat kills efficiency)

3. You soft-seal the rotors to each other allowing them to be more efficient at producing boost. You can typically gain up to 1-2 psi depending on application whereas with an intercooler you typically lose psi due to pressure drop across the intercooler.

Now I remember seeing it back a few pages... Yeah you're cooling the rotors, cooling the charge, and effectively adding octane. No doubt it's effective. I wonder if all the concern about rusted/pitted rotors is just internet BS, like so much other crap we hear on forums every day...

Curious--did you see more boost with w/m?

According to my guy Rodney at alcohol injection systems . Com there was a problem with one particular batch of roots blowers where the coating naturally de laminated from wear. A rumor got started from that and meth got blamed. He said he has never had a problem in decades.

I think they are all hard anodized rotors. I didnt pull mine apart to see before installing it. I know a lot of the top fuel guys will have the rotors teflon coated for less friction. but then they replace them almost every round.
Glad to see more CA guys running this kit. Cant wait to hear your results from the track day.

I am comparing the two exactly because of the difference in power delivery. I like the twin screw better due low and mid range torque. Just wanted to overlay the torque charts and compare. Unless you are consistently driving in the very upper rev range this kit is superior to the Vortech.

Looks like a great kit.

No, there is also a torque dip on the FI dyno, just at a higher rpm and its less significant, but its still there.....Jesus.

I was considering nitride coating mine to reduce fricrion but i have no idea if that can be done to this blower and what the downsides of doing it would be.... anyone have insight? Like has anyone here done this with a blower before?
