quit all the bitching, this is exactly what we wanted, a lo priced car we can buy and change just the way we want it. I kind of like the climate control, but what's wrong with the knobs? I like the sat nav, but I would never get it in a car like this. I like the crappy scion radio, and if an option came up to remove it, I would choose it and put in some gauges, and a place to prop my ipod/iphone/mobile device. Any phone I would get today would have GPS, why would I need anything else. Eventually if I want to do a car PC I could if I want to.

The whole interior brought a smile to my face, as well as the tail lights. I can't wait for a test drive.

Im surprised no ones mentioned the cruise control yet.

If that's an option (very unlikely) then i will opt out thanks, i dont need it.

Other then the already mentioned faults im very ok with it, i love the dark interior and in another post somewhere i mentioned i would prefer less red on the interior, US guys and gals must be happy if its around 23-24k>

I have to say I'm quite pleased if this car is going to come stripped out as the base. That only means it will be lighter and more affordable.
Besides, Scion will probably make all the features you guys are begging for available as options.

But at the same time I support Scion too, it's comes to the prices now and Subie colors.

i love the fact you called it spartan. i was thinking the same thing on like page 3 and almost said "its great! THIS IS SPARTAAAAAN!!!!!" lmao

Screw you scion! You killed this car! The interior looks so freaking cheap and those headlights look worst than a base model 350z.

Why scion why?
No push button start?!?!?!? The climate controls look straight corolla ghetto!

Subaru you got my money...

I'm in the same boat. I wanted the Subaru, I've owned three after all! The only deciding factor between the two was cost. And seeing the pictures, I don't think there's a question that the Scion is going to the cheaper of the two.

Oh well, I'll be *quite* happy with the FR-S. It is after all more Subaru than Scion under the skin anyway.

Bottom line the FRS will sell, like it or not it will if not to us it will to the people starting out.

There's always a BRZ if you want more out of your interior... but it's gonna cost you.

If I had to complain about something it would be the red in seats and stitching. Not a fan personally. I wonder if you will be able to get it all in black.
