**Auto Con 2014 Coverage!!**

Hey guys, we just done wrapping up another successful year at AutoCon.

This year the event was held indoors at the Fairplex Exposition Complex located in Pomona CA. Compared to last year's scorching heat being outside, this year was much better for spectators and vendors alike. AutoCon 2014 brought about some of the highest caliber cars we had ever seen. We saw everything from classic Hakosuka’s and a slammed Lincoln Continental to two amazing Liberty Walk R35 GTR’s and a slew of Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Audi's, and BMW's.

There was a little bit of everything for everybody. Inside the Fairplex auditorium vendors had booths that lined up in the entire center section of the event center while outside they showcased some awesome lifted pickup trucks and off-road vehicles.

This year seemed to be the year of having high-end cars with wide body kits, wide wheels, and meaty tires. Not only was our Bulletproof Automotive Concept One FR-S with a full Varis wide body kit there, we also saw a handful of BMW’s, GTR’s, and FRS/BRZ’s sporting Liberty Walk and Rocket Bunny wide body Kits everywhere we looked.

Last year we attended the show with our legendary Tracy Sports/Amuse wide body S2000 bathed in Top Secret gold. We took home the “Finest JDM Vehicle” award that year.

This year we were fortunate enough to have taken top honors winning “Finest of Show” for our Bulletproof Automotive Concept One FR-S. See our thread on our Concept One FR-S build (here).

Our team had also taken home a handful of other awards; Our Hokasuka took home runner up for “Finest JDM Vehicle” while our project Overtake R35 GTR took home “Finest Body Work” for its full dry carbon body with a fully custom carbon/alcantara interior, granted our GTR wasn’t even finished yet, we were extremely grateful to have been given such an award even though the project was still in progress.

Our Zele Japan x Bulletproof Automotive 370Z won runner up for “Finest Nissan” with its full Zele aero kit painted in a gorgeous special Porsche GT3 Gray running a newly acquired Top Secret/HKS Supercharger Kit. The first kit of its kind in the US. You can see the thread on the Zele Japan x Bulletproof Automotive build (here).

We would like to share with you our event recap so stay tuned as we share our experience and post up some amazing pictures from the event.

This year at AutoCon we decided to bring out our newly built Bulletproof Automotive Concept One FR-S to the show. For those of you who have been keeping up with the progress of our FR-S know that it was recently in Japan doing a tour of media and publicity runs while tearing up the Tsukuba race track with Nob Taniguchi at the wheel. We had the car shipped back home to the states just in time for this year's AutoCon. The FR-S literally arrived a few days before AutoCon and we only had a little time left to prep for the show but we knew we had to make it because AutoCon was an important event for us. Not only was it the first major show of the 2014 season in SoCal, it was also the first major debut since its return from the land of the rising sun.

Luckily it made it to the show in one piece and we took home top prize "Finest of Show". We truly put our entire heart and soul of the company into this project. Using only the most top of the line, high quality parts, we built what we thought embodied the super car concept into the shell and heart of the FR-S.

From the front of the car our Concept One FR-S sports a full Varis wide body D kit which includes a large Varis Semi Dry Carbon (VSDC) front diffuser and a large center mount Varis GT wing. In the heart of the beast we have a built bottom end and a full Powerhouse Amuse concept turbo kit. The first of its kind in the world. The exhaust gases get expelled through a beautiful Amuse R1 Titan exhaust. We were fortunate enough to have gotten our FR-S back from Japan with a gorgeous set of Matte Blue Gunmetal Volk ZE40's. Our full mod list can be found here on our thread dedicated to the Concept One build.

Our FR-S had a very warm welcoming from the AutoCon team as well as from our fans and supporters so we would like to send our gratitude and thanks to all those that stopped by.

Check out this beautiful high level shot of our FR-S with a new set of Volk ZE40's.

Here's a beautiful shot or the R1 Titan exhaust on our Concept One FR-S.

A funny shot of a couple our team members wiping down our Concept One FR-S.

Here you can see the amazing detail in the Varis wide body front fenders with carbon fender vent panels. You just can't get any better than this.

Sitting pretty next to our Zele x Bulletproof Automotive 370Z!

Needless to say, we're very proud, thankful, and grateful for the support we've received from the AutoCon team, our fans, and supporters. Thank you!

Hey guys... to start things off, we wanted to share with you the coverage on our Zele x Bulletproof Automotive 370Z. This is another demo car of ours that we've been working on for the past year. We recently just turned things up a bit and added a slew of amazing JDM aftermarket parts to it. You can see the full thread on the build here.

Our 370Z sports a full Zele International GT Aero Kit with a carbon front lip and we applied the full Bulletproof Automotive custom carbon treatment on the rear diffuser center section on the rear bumper. The entire outside was repainted in a custom Porsche GT3 RS Gray. A Varis Semi Dry Carbon (VSDC) vented aero bonnet was utilized to lighten things up a bit and to provide some additional cooling. Looking towards the front of the car, you'll also notice some custom projector headlights added into the mix. We will be adding some new aero parts here in the near future so make sure to check back on our threads to see what we are going to do next

The interior is dressed with some beautiful Defi Advance RS Limited Edition gauges. The driver and passenger get to sit comfortably on some Bride Euro II seats in blue while being strapped in by some black Takata Drift Spec harnesses. An Amuse titanium rear brace bar with harness attachments hold the racing harnesses securely in place. The glory is in the details. A gorgeous Tommy Kaira Heavy Baby shift knob gives the driver a more solid shift shift feel while slamming the gears into place. Custom green LED's lighten up the interior cabin while a custom sound system is displayed by an in-dash touch screen system.

The Z rolls around on a few sets of different wheels from time-to-time. Currently it's sitting on some black Volk G2's in 370Z fitment with some meaty 275/30 tires up front and massive 305/35 tires in the rear. Tucked away behind the beautiful black Volk wheels sits some AP Racing 6 pot front and 4 pot rear brake calipers. It's currently lowered on some super nice and super rare Powerhouse Amuse coilovers. Needless to say the Z has a really nice and aggressive stance.

Moving on to the heart of the beast, we were fortunate enough to have received the first ever Top Secret/Revyou Supercharger Kit in the US. Utilizing an HKS compressor and a slew of other HKS goodies, this new kit definitely added not only the power we needed for this build, but also the wow factor that won over the judges at the event. Looking down at the motor, the first thing you see is the beautifully crafted Top Secret carbon engine cover which has been discontinued by the way.

All in all, no expense was spared in making this Z into what we thought would be a good representation of what a high quality, high performance, street tuner car should be. We will be adding more pictures later on in the thread so please make sure to check back!

Here are some beautiful rolling shots done by our very own Karissa Hosek. Our recently acquired Performance Parts Consultant and in-house photographer.

Here is a great shot of the front of our Z. You can see the great beautiful Zele bumper with carbon lip, custom projector headlights, Varis VSDC aero bonnet, and the nice HKS intercooler.

We took home runner up in the "Finest Nissan" category.

Sorry our R35 was near the back of the row. The FR-S was next to our Zele x Bulletproof Automotive 370Z. Nice catch . And thank you so much for the compliments!

@calmtigers - Where did you see this? There were so many different vendors, cars, and parts there it was hard to keep track. Which car was your favorite?

I saw this actually right near the table with all the shirts! It was behind the red matte frs!

Your guys car was probably the most "dazzling" but of the frs I've got to say the Super Street Green Rocket bunny frs was amazingly clean looking.

Hey guys, here's some more additional coverage from AutoCon 2014. Check out these awesome photos done by our very own Karissa Hosek.

Our first post of this coverage is our very own full dry carbon Overtake kitted R35 GTR. The GTR we brought out is actually still in progress at the moment but we thought AutoCon was the best avenue to showcase our most current project for 2014. This GTR was done in the full Overtake kit which includes dry carbon doors, fenders, rear quarter panels, roof, rear bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser/under skirt, hood, trunk, and front bumper. The body panels were so well done people couldn't help but touch it as they walked by. Needless to say we had to spend a good amount of time after the show wiping down the fingerprints left on our GTR.

We are also rolling on some amazing Bulletproof Automotive Limited Edition Frozen Carbon Advan GT wheels. Our Frozen Carbon Advan GT's have actual carbon laid into one of the spokes and refinished to make it our very own limited edition wheels.

The interior was all custom done in full Alcantara and custom carbon. Nearly every piece of this interior has been swapped out and redone in either Alcantara or carbon.

Although our GTR wasn't finished yet, we thought it important to bring it out to the event to showcase what we were working on. This is a project that we are so proud of and excited about, we couldn't wait to share it with others. We are hoping to have the car finished this year with a full engine, suspension, interior, and exterior build. Stay tuned to keep up with our progress!!

Check out the massive Amuse exhaust tips covered by the full dry carbon rear diffuser/underskirt.
