@Tcoat what do you think about the dash mats/dash toppers? Any issues with those with the airbags deployment? Just curious to know your thoughts..

I would think the same sort of rules apply. If the impede the passenger airbag they may be a bad idea. Never saw a test on those. I will ask the lab rats what they think.

Those typically go up and out of the way. Still, it is a risk. More worried about all the caltrops on my dash, though.

I would think they would go up as well, just not positive.
I store my caltrops in my trunk with my throwing stars and hand grenades.
Safety first!

Hey guys. You were real helpful before and I've never posted anything else here so I'm just back here..
Wondering if you can help me with my next issue.
I currently have an intake and a Borla Catback installed.
I also have the Borla combo pipe (not installed) and a friend of mine is getting his turbo installed later this month and will be selling me his Borla UEL and OFT. He will also install everything.
His car is SUPER loud and he has all the same stuff that I will have (plus e85 tune, which I'm debating on since I'm already buying the OFT).
BUT he does not have the muffler from the Borla system, he just has a tiny resonator.
I assume I'll be a little more quiet than he is.
So my question to you is what would I sound like with just the header and the catback compared to using also using the overpipe/frontpipe combo (that I picked up brand new for CHEAP from someone local)?
I can't seen to find a video or audio of Borla UEL+ Borla Catback OR UEL+over/frontpipe+catback.
I just really don't want to be too loud and don't want to have him install everything and then end up telling him to take the combo pipe out (especially since it's brand new, I'd rather just know if I'm not going to want it).
Thanks!!

If running the muffler you will be a little quieter. Still be loud though. It will probably be a good loud from your perspective but won't make any friends with your neighbours. Loud is pretty subjective though so what is to loud for some is just fine for others. I personally love loud but have stayed relatively quiet for the sake of not pissing off everybody on my block.
