Update guys

Last week I received a call from the Police department. They told me that they went to their house and found red paint all over the car. The driver was apparently the owner of the cars wife and said she didn't know that she hit my car.

They gave me their information and I got in contact with them.

Long story short they gave me the money for the repairs.

Thanks for everyones advice and a huge shoutout to the good person who wrote down the the information on my car! Without you, I wouldn't of been able to get the money back

Took camera footage and the police to call the guy to come back and admit to wrong doing. F150 as he pulled out on the left side he cut it too sharp, the rear tire caught the front bumper cover and peeled it back. No structural damage, but its still a mark against the car should I ever try to trade or resell..

By the time he showed up he had been in the bar having drinks so his wife had to drive him.. took 7 hours before he showed up, and my car had to sit there until he did.
