Sorry, I still don't understand the difference. I looked up the "Comparing the Services" and that told me a little. Is the main difference that the national guard is funded by the state whereas the reserves is funded federally? Operationally is there any difference between a reserve corporal and a N.G. corporal?

Being in the navy normally isn't that bad. For the vast majority of my 14 years I've done my job of fixing whatever was broken and stayed clear of the fan that the shit hits. Today though my entire department spent almost three hours being 'spoken' to, about... I don't they turned into fog horn sounds about 30 seconds in. The thing was though, this was broken up into two different sessions with three people speaking in the first session and two in the second. All of them repeating what the other said. And none of it had any effect or was the result of me and my actions. Tomorrow I'm going to work with cover sheet for my TPS reports. Hopefully they see the humor in it, but some how I doubt it.

Oh yea, @Dimman (the rest of the engine nerds seem to have disappeared ), at FSAE I asked them what their target lambda was (they use a Motec M400, fancy fancy) and the guy who did tuning told me they aimed for about 0.94 :O

It makes me wonder, because over the interwebz everyone seems to claim 0.85-0.9 is "ideal". Are they just full of shit? Maybe it's that the FSAE car has 14:1 compression pistons so the flame speed is naturally faster.

Im just mad that my entire paycheck from that drill is gone. Oh well. I had a good weekend aside from that.
Did 20 years in the military and got several tickets over those years and was never shown any mercy due to being military...
