not trying to alter you decision but i can see that lip fetching for around $300+..just comparing it to the factory BRZ STi lip which is over $400..hopefully some company replicates the front lip as i would definitely be interested in it as well. Simple and subtle front lip.

I don't mind paying a premium for an OEM piece. I already spent 28k on the car, what is another 300?

I think you're missing another 0 at the end of that 300 right there We all know it's not gonna be that cheap.

i know i was throwing a figure out there lol...Seeing as the foglight kit was $400 from Scion and you could get it for $150 from Diode Dynamics. I would never buy these things from the dealer. $300 for a piece of poly worth $50...If there was a replica i would be all on it. If its non mechanical parts i won't mid a rep. I just wouldn't shell out that much from the dealer.

We all should start a new thread about the price for the rs2 lip. Closest one gets a cookie. I agree on you on that.

Two weeks ago I posted about a visit I made to my local Toyota/Scion dealer to inquire about the RS 2.0. (see top of page 28 post #460) Now that the news of Toyota’s decision to axe the Scion brand has filtered down to the sales floor guess what? The salesman I spoke with phoned to follow up on my visit. Good for him, that’s what all sales people should do. However, I had to laugh at his sales pitch. Because the Scion brand is going away he figures the RS 2.0’s will be even more rare and hold (perhaps even increase) their resale value. He was letting me know that it would be a good time to lock into a sale before they’re all gone.

That's when you tell him that you will just go nearest Toyota dealer and buy a Toyota FRS when they come out instead.
