Go with 660s

NT01 or RT660.

The grip will blow your mind compared to your SS1LE.

I have Gloc R12 in my fronts and I must say, the pad cut on them is pretty trash. All 4 are a different shape compared to the OEM and Endless pads I have. Also, they drag on the rotors at low speeds resulting in squeaking while driving around... this was solved by sanding them all level on confirmed smooth table (granite). [Before someone comments, my calipers are not the issue as I have no pad dragging issues on any other brake pad and the fronts are freshly rebuilt].

When I used to compete in a FWD platform, I ran XP10/XP8 so it was easier to trail brake into corners and the car also didn't have fancy TCS/VSC/EBD for me to worry about. Do people usually run square or staggered pad setup? I don't know if staggered compounds will mess with this car's brake balance or risk triggering "ice mode".

Trying to go for mixed track/street setup so I'm thinking of using R8/R6 or R10/R8.

This chassis is designed around square pads, staggered will cause the ebd to work overtime. Xp10s are my first track pad, I wouldn’t bother with r8 unless you know you’re light on brakes.

When you get into some of the more high friction pads a slight stagger is needed. rice_classic runs St47/43 in a stagger because he was getting rear lockup. Because of my wing I bought 47's F&R and it was too much. Just some brief street testing I get rear ABS to trigger quite a bit.

Yeah mine were noisy as hell and super dusty as well. I mean they're known for being very affordable in their performance range, I can't imagine stressing over this sort of thing on a track pad.

I would never even consider R8s, I ran R10s and they were nowhere near enough pad for me even on RS4s. They worked great and modulated super easily but they just evaporated. My last event on them the fronts started at "reasonable for one event" and ended on the backing plates. R12s might be ok but I'd probably go even higher if I tried G-Loc/Carbotech again.

I've been extremely happy with my CSG C2s and probably won't bother with anything else moving forward, but I understand if people aren't ready to take the plunge on them.

I run CSG C2 front/rear, without ABS... No probs, consistent strong braking, fronts lock first. No aero, on A052s. On A7s with C2 fronts and Winmax W5 rears, I had WAY too much front bias, flatspotted the bejeezus out of one of my precious Hoosiers :'(

I ran square up until these pads.

That's funny. I ran a reverse stagger

Albeit, Brembo front stock rear. I wanted more rear response.

I’m thinking of trying a different compound on each corner

Find the pad that maximizes the front tire deceleration then use a rear pad that compliments that; in my case a rear pad that induces “just enough” rear abs as the very limit or under late stage trail braking is ideal.

Think about heat. Stock brakes with no cooling and r-comps = lots of heat. BBK with brake ducks and 200tw tires = very little heat. Run the corresponding pad.

Tracks with unique conditions can induce strange realities too. Example, on the racecar the ST43 rear pads will last a full race season+ on PacNw tracks (and california) but in (1) 40 minute race at Road America they got destroyed. RA has 3 hard decel zones from 120+mph which is unique vs most other tracks. If I raced at RA often I would either run a “hotter” pad in the rear or add rear brake cooling.
