Taking the gains from lighter unsprung weight, plus an additional 20 or so horsepower...that is not only measureable but can be felt in almost any type of acceleration.

I just didn't want to give the impression that 5lbs off each wheel has a transformative effect.
Totally - .2 seconds is huge, but only if you're on a track...or bench racing. Then you can tell your friends that your car would be faster than theirs if you guys raced in GT5.

I could actually feel from when I went from a 42lb wheel/tire combo to a 58lb combo (different car with flashy wheels and +2 fitment). That car had barely 110 HP. But to me, it felt "faster" because I was so planted in turns, but when in reality I was hella slower because I couldn't accelerate. You could also sense the weight when traveling over bad pavement, because the shocks were dying to keep up with all that extra weight flying around.

Me? I haven't actually been to a track in years. But I love to theorize that if I ever went to the track again, I'd be hella fast. I'm getting the light wheels so my virtual race car will be faster than your virtual cruising/street car.

Did these not sell well? I don't see them on ft86speedfactory.com anymore, and there's not a whole lot of history to be found from google.

Yeah, I might be the only BRZ on the planet running these. And that's fine by me. Are they the best looking wheels for the car. No. I got them because they are unique and they met my size and weight requirements.
