BRZ beach key solutions?

Hey all, just wondering if anybody surfs and what you do with your key while you're in the water.

Bodyboarding was my only form of exercise and now I haven't been able to go since I got the BRZ

Do you have a limited? You might be able to pop the metal key out of the fob, lock the fob in the car, and wear the metal key around your wrist. I don't know if the car will allow the fob to be locked inside though.

Yeah it's a limited. Hmm i'll try that out as soon as I get home. I feel like the doors might still open since the fob is in range even in the trunk.

Get one of those key-code locking Key boxes, lock it to your wheel or rear swaybar.

If someone breaks into the car they can drive away with it. But if you lock the fob in the car using the key it will stay locked until you unlock it with the key.

small waterproof bag. Wear it below the wetsuit, itches a bit but it's the best solution ive found.

In my GT86 when leaving the key in the car and try to lock the car via the doorhandle-touch, nothing happens except for the buzzeralarm going off to tell you that the key is inside.

So wrap it up in tinfoil or put the key in some lead-box in the trunk?

Lock the fob in the trunk if they key isn't in it, it has no way to connect to the car so it won't be able to unlock the car

If you hit the lock button on the door with the key in the glove box it should work. that is what I did.

But then if anyone else comes by can't they just open your door by touching it? Why even bother locking it?

It made me use a key to unlock it...maybe my nfc sensor is bad but if my fob isn't in the drivers seat it will not start.

Used to have a shat-ton of ALOKSAK bags. If I find one you're more than welcome to have it. Or Amazon them.

I surf every day. Fob goes in gas tank, metal key goes in wetsuit.
Come back to car- open with metal key & pop gas tank release.

It's a pain, I know.

The above works because it's far enough outside the bubble.
