Roj, will you let me know please.

I am eager to get some more out of the engine and am already in talks with Perrin. Would be good if there were local suppliers that I could work with instead - whether it be for intakes, exhausts or even suspension parts.

Hope to hear from you

^^ thanks ROJ!

For anyone interested, I got some prices on TRD parts from Toyota.

Radiator cap: 190 Aed
Fuel cap cover: 245 aed
Engine oil cap: 635 aed
Oil filter: 190 aed
Shift knob: 625 aed
Red start / stop : 890 aed
Air filter: 1050 aed
Trd shocks: 12650 aed

And that's what they have for now. I understand that as a Toyota owner you automatically are entitled to 10% discount. However I get the feeling you could bargain some more.

Great information. And as you informed earlier, I think I'll be signing the service contract from Al-Badia soon.

Any chance you can extract prices on some TRD exterior parts too? I'm specifically interested in the TRD spoiler if its installation costs less/equal than shipping it from Japanparts.com.

See if you can manage to negotiate with them Nadav..

Plus stay tuned, I might manage to get something out of a couple of new suppliers bringing stuff in for the 86..

Are we allowed to modify the car? My agent told me that any modification will void the warranty. I too am interested in Perrin Performance parts.

Shadow / imti, sorry I can't get prices on anything else. What I will say is that I managed a 25% discount on the TRD filter so can assume similar discounts on other parts.

Let's see if Perrin or any other supplier can arrange a group buy for us

Can you share Subaru UAE number? I want to ask if they can sell the BRZ spoiler separately. Would help fellow members interested in buying it in UAE.

Thanks. I guess I'll stick to Japan parts then if Subaru too don't sell their spoiler to us separately.

I think this servicing prices is just getting worst.. We need to look for a garage who can do this servicing for us. I live in a flat so i dont have the previledge to do my own servicing examining the engine seems its easier to do normal maintenance with it.. There should be another garage that we all can go to with a lot less than this..

I am personally reluctant to get an 86 if things turn out this way.. The car is already priced on the edge.. I feel the same money could go for something more powerful/ with more value..

If you guys to to dyna trade and tell them service the 86, they will probably respond with: 'HUH?? what you say?'
Plus, isn't the warranty void if the 86 is serviced outside the dealership?

Would you guys be interested in drafting a list of your service intervals along with prices? I will share a post about this story and see how other 86 owners respond..

On the other hand, Alfa Romeo and Mazda are working together on their own RWD compact sports car, that might be very interesting:
