This is rediculous. Activision budget, and Bungie can't even create new armor, new weapons, or be creative in any other way.

Seriously; 5 years of development (supposedly), almost at the first anniversary, and the content is extremely lacking and full of characters that look exactly the same (minus a random shader), even the class armor items fail to be unique in any way.

Lemme tell ya, you microsoft guys can have bungie back. Not impressed in the least.

While X-box guys seem to drop panties quicker than a 14 year old girl at a One Direction concert at the mention of Halo or Bungie.

You didn't like the reveal? I thought it was really good. Got me super hyped for the new DLC.

And there seemed like lots of new weapon models at least, especially in from the tower vendors. Nothing crazy but different at least (except maybe for hand cannons).

At the very least it seems like they're trying.

Given the budget they have, I feel they are defintely not trying.

This would be all rainbows and loli-pops if Destiny was an Indie, but it is not. Even that being said, some Indie companies put out more content with more creativity.

Halo > Destiny.

They never lost Bungie. Whatever remnants of "Bungie" died once they left Microsoft's shadow. Hell, Frank stayed to head 343 Studios. Activision has always been horrible about this and people shouldn't have expected anything less. Just look at how much they charge for DLC map packs on COD. I wish developers and publishers would learn from RockStar. They're one of my favorite and look how much support and new content is constantly added to GTA V. FOR FREE!

Given what we had in the base game and how weak the Dark Below was, based on what I saw yesterday I do think they're trying.

I wasn't expecting miracles with this DLC, we know the lack of content is a reality. They weren't going to fix that with one DLC.

Base game wasn't what people were expecting or what it was hyped to be, I think we all know that at this point.

Keep in mind the reveal was only a portion of what's coming. Just some gear, vendors, bounties, and a new area. They even admitted they left some things out. If you're pissed that the weapons and armor aren't auper unique, well, then I guess that's a deal breaker...

Destiny has good. gameplay. I am sure people don't mind looking like hunterx0001000122986. But these people are being paid well to slap some bones on an existing model or make it a Different color. I feel as consumers, we should demand more.

This could be said about every industry. Customers should demand more. The industry isn't doing everything it can. Look at movies right now. They're just making more money by selling you your childhood. That or everything is a reboot. The only difference now is that you're buying all the crap instead of your parents.

That is EXACTLY the problem @MokSpeed.

Customers are not demanding more. Its apparent even in this forum.

The HOW add-on (all it really is, not even close to an expansion) is mediocre at best. I am amazed that ANYONE could be impressed by this new "content".

I'm not saying people should rise up against the tyranny of the Boring, but don't let them spoon feed you sh*t and then smile and say "I love chocolate!".

Yea Bungie pulled a fast one on everybody with Destiny. You can tell the entire game was changed the minute they signed with Activision. They basically used their prestige and reputation earned from previous titles (mainly Halo) to sell the game before content was even revealed or announced; specifically the season pass. With their pockets fattened they now casually come out with "new content" as you've mentioned. When I initially purchased the season pass on launch date, I had envisioned much more comprehensive gameplay to be added over time. I guess I was wrong. Now my only logic behind it is that I've already paid for it so I might as well play it.

For me anyway, the amount of time I've played (and enjoyed) this game more than justifies the $100 I spent on it.

Now they're giving me more content, so yeah I'm pumped.

Is it the best game ever? No. But the only 2 games I've ever put anywhere near this amount of time into were Halo 2 and Skyrim, and let me tell you 200+ hours into those I was also doing the same shit over and over again for little to no reward.
