That is odd that it would feel better. Low fluid only impacts the brakes if it gets so low it pulls air in. If it was that low and air got in, that air would still be in there even after adding fluid. Probably a placebo.

Just cuz it's Halloween, so necro time!
just had this happen last week...
I'm lazy so instead of checking the book I decided to check see what random
people I don't know would say.
New disks & pads up front this spring, not sure of condition of rear.
Bought new high heat fluid in the spring but did not replace. 4 track days this yr.
Will be replacing fluids in spring as the car will be hibernation soon.
I'll be checking for leaks...

2nd this. I was at the track and the brake light came on. Visually, it looked like the fluid was above the low fluid mark but the light went off and stayed off after adding fluid.
