Upcoming Scion Frs
Hello, I'm still new to this forum. This is my 2nd car, but my first time modding my car.
Installed HID headlights 6k Clear side markers Switchback Tint Upcoming Air intake (I have no idea which is better, i've been reading and I'm leaning towards cold air intake rather than RAM or short) Racing 4/5 point seat belts (I have no idea where to get them. Looked on ebay, but it looks like i need to bolt it on) Catback - For the catback I want a stacked quad exhaust, but there seems to be a lot of hate for it and it looks like it cost $2k from Toms. So please convince me another one. Maybe the J2 quad Header - (I'm leaning towards Borla UEL header even though they are illegal they sound nice) LED white footwell - still can't find a good brand Recommendations Diffuser (?) still don't know what it does, but everyone is telling me to get one. I'm willing to take any advice/ recommendations I also heard that turning on stick is amazing, like how you can feel it. Unfortunately I have an automatic so is there anyway that I can feel what everyone with a stick car is talking about. Thanks in advance. Hopefully I can go to a FRS meet up, but too afraid since my car is like stock. Last edited by KRUKUSA; 10-12-2013 at 03:55 PM. |

Ill save you the trouble of looking for an exhaust by simply recommending that Nameless Performance has one of the best systems in the market.

I don't think having a "stock" car should keep you away from FR-S meets. They may be a good place to see, hear and talk mods, to help you decide .... I suggest you check in with your local sub-forum to find out what's happening, when and where. humfrz |

Nameless is good, yes, but I personally LOVE my ARK DT-S exhaust. Bit expensive but worth every penny. No drone and purrs like a kitten

Never install anything in your car that will hold you bolt upright in the car, unless you have ALSO installed a professional quality cage or roll bar system to protect your head and spine in a crash. And now, with those bars in such close proximity to your skull, you must pad those bars AND WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES. You MUST employ an anti-submarine strap as well. Not to keep from sliding into the footwell, but to keep the lap belt from being pulled upwards off your pelvic bones and destroying your internal organs in a violent crash. There's more to this whole business than you might have originally imagined. Be SAFE, KRUKUSA. |

Maybe you shouldn't be modding a car. You seem like you care what people think about your car rather than what you really want on your car. For instance, you don't want go to a meet because it's stock and you worry about what others think. Drive it, enjoy it, and do what YOU want to it. Don't do anything to "fit in" with this or any car.

Maybe he should stop wearing clothes too while at it. Fuck what other people think right? There's a limit to that before you'll be treated the way you're judged. |
