My SWP BRZ: light tuned- stay tuned!
Update August 21! (engine bay pic on the last post)
Current mods list: -Invidia Q300 stainless cat-back exhaust system (with titanium tips) -Perrin polyurethane exhaust hangers -Perrin intake inlet tube (black) -K&N high flow air filter -Cusco front strut tower bar type ALC OS with master cylinder brace -Beatrush differential mount support bar -Cusco transmission mount collar -Perrin transmission mount support -Grimmspeed hood struts -Grimmspeed front license plate relocation bracket -TOM's tail lamps -STi clear sidemarkers -Perrin supershort antenna -Cusco 1.3 bar high pressure radiator cap -Grimmspeed 86 engine oil cap -Beatrush tow hook (red) -removed 'Subaru' and 'BRZ' lettering from the rear of the car Installed my Invidia Q300 cat back today. Went with the titanium tips option, and got it through the guys at Rallysport Direct. This will be the LAST time I do an exhaust install with a floor jack. While under the car I dropped the straight pipe on my head. Ugh. Oh, and here's a shot of the car at the Maserati dealer in Broomfield, CO- where some local FRS/BRZ owners and I met up to drive to Cars and Coffee in Lafayette this past Saturday Please note that this was pre-exhaust install. Day 1: Keep me motivated. -Joe

Since I might do some carbon accents, I figured this was the most obvious choice!

Update on the storm:
No damage! I was in the car for most of the storm, and parked under a large tree- so it just sounded a lot louder than it was, especially on the back third of the roof panel. If you've been in yours during a heavy rainstorm, you'll likely know what I mean.

That is excellent news. It does not take very large hail to damage the triplets. One of the guys from Cleveland got quite a bit of damage from just dime size hail. Others have had the cars nearly totaled by larger hail.

Not really an update, per se, but still amusing:
On the way back to my house, rolled up to a stoplight next to an S2000. They tried to get me when the light changed, but I ended up taking them. Then we both got smoked by a Nissan GTR and a Corvette Z06. Fun times- haven't had this much fun fooling around since I had my SR20DET powered b13 Sentra.

You shouldn't have been able to get the S2000. Either speaks well of your driving ability, or poorly of theirs

Poorly of theirs, I do believe. This is also a road I drive every day, so I know the lights pretty well. I'm still learning the shift points on the BRZ, and haven't even pushed it over 5k on the tach yet.

Update:
First addition is kind of a lame one, and I won't include pics as I'm sure you've all seen it: Subaru Sunshade. Next up, finalize my order from Rallysport Direct for the front license plate frame and mini antenna. My uncle will be in town next week (he's been in and around racing for 40 years), and I'm going to ask his advice on what to add next... although I'm leaning towards something like strut tower braces.
