215/40/r18 Pilot Sport 4s from PP/tS

So I found a nail in my tire today...2000 miles on the tires. It's too close to the sidewall to patch.

I cannot for the life of me find a place to purchase a 215/40/r18 to replace it. Does anyone know what place sells this size?

First, do you not have warranties on your tires? I always get them. They replace your tire if you get a nail. I think that the warranty is worth the cost.

Anyway, I have 215/40/18s too. I had to order them.

A 225/40 is a very common size though. Everyone carries them.

LOL! I read what you wrote. Did you read what I wrote? I had to order my 215/40 tires, because they are not a common size. Most places will have to order them in.

That means calling fifteen million places to find the best price. I hate doing that, lol.

Guess I'll make due.

It does suck to not be able to just go get tires the same day...

I have been working with my local Discount tire shop for 20 years. They always price match ANY tire/wheel deal I find online or locally. (which usually is a tirerack.com price)

Sorry you got a nail. Good Luck finding a deal!

Or You can get 2 225/40/18 for the rear

215 on 7.5 is kind stretched.

Going staggered is worse choice then slight stretch. Also given that for 7.5" wheel width it's stated that minimum is 205, ideal 215 to 225, max 235, i somehow fail to see stretching issue.
