Hi, I am using my car for competition only (track, race) with the JRSC C38. I'm purchasing the high boost pulley + injectors, fuel pump + E85. Which would be a better option to buy for engine cooling? The JR oil cooler or the JR radiator and oil cooler?

I don't have the kit but consensus from what I've read on here is the air to air kit is recommended for racing and warmer climates, and the rad/cooler combo is recommended for colder winter climates and occasional tracking/autocross.

Anyone knows what extra weight a C30 of C38 kit adds up?
I've read that the Edelbrock was quite heavy at 120lbs.

I'm looking to have 80-100 bhp added to my 2018 Subaru BRZ. I use it 99% for fast road use and want the most reliable option.
I'm living in Belgium so temperatures are always between -5 and 30° C (23-86 fahrenheit).

Which class will you compete in?

SM for SCCA.

The other club I race with has classes based on vehicle weight and power. But honestly I just want to target FTD (eventually) with any setup.

+30 lbs In my weight spreadsheet. +32 for the C38.

The Edelbrock is in the ballpark of <edited> iirc but don't quote me on that. That's because you install around 100 lbs of parts but also remove some.
Edit: thanks to CSG Mike, (see post 2 below mine) it is +55 lbs.

You're in California; get the CARB tune.
This is the post where 30 lbs came from. Edited my post above.

Net added weight with the Edelbrock kit is closer to 55lbs.

What’s ETune? I will get a custom tune from delicious as well when I pair up my C30 with tomei EL.

Do u have a C30 or C38? I was told C38 requires ACE header plus high boost pulleys.

Etune is just an electronic tune, in other words I didn't physically bring the car to them. I put the tuning software on my own laptop put on the tune, took logs, sent the log results to Delicious and then they sent back the tune after a few rounds of logs.

I have a C38, whoever told you it "requires" anything is just plain wrong. Neither the C30 or C38 require anything, they can both be run on otherwise stock systems, or with any header setup.
