Because of this whenever I hear an excessively loud exhaust on the public roads I smile and wonder just how empty is the drivers head.

While growing up my mum owned a 65 T-Bird with straight pipes. When she left for work in the morning the whole neighborhood woke up. The vibrations actually cracked our front window.
