So there will probably be a strong History v Modern Requirements argument within Nissan. They have a strong L4 performance history with the Silvia, after all.

I'll tell you why we don't need a N/A 4 cylinder Z. Two words! TORQUELESS WONDER!
We have already filled the quota for that. Some people unlike some of you guys like great power from the low-mid-high range(not just the high range). And I love the Z for doing just that while being a great handler. I don't want every sports car to follow the FRS path all of a sudden. I think Honda should follow that path since they are famous for torqueless wonders that handle well. |

several things to consider.
it will have more power than current z (maybe bringing back the turbo or even tuned down gtr engine) it will defintely cost more than current z so most likely z will cost around 35-50k and nissan will probably introduce a low-end performance vehicle similar to brz

Am I the only one thinking that this new 240 Z is going to be the next 240 silvia? If you think about it, the newer modern fairlady will never be in a good pricerange unless they want to take it back down to a 2.4 liter or dropping the displacement to compensate for price.
Speaking of 2.4 liter, wasnt the newer/mid generation 240sx using a KA24DE 2.4 liter engine???
