At that price, it sounds like your running a model designed for a smaller motorcycle. I do not think Battery Tender even manufactures automotive batteries.
It's not Lithium ion...Its Lithium ferrous oxide or something like that. They don't blow up is what's important. Lol.Deltrans
Manufactures these for battery tender. For what use, i don't know.

I do not think I stated it was a Lithium Ion battery. Is this for a dedicated track car where you just want the lightest battery possible that can start and restart should it stall on the track ?

Again, the price you mentioned seems to be the fraction of the price, or even cost for a Lithium, be it Lithium Ion or LFE aka LifePO4 if designed for automotive use "starting as well as running electronics / lighting" So again it sounds like your utilizing a motorcycle battery and the results you have had would be expected.

Lol Do you have a malfunction? Who cares if it's a car or motorcycle battery? Yes my car is mostly a track car. If you want to know more about the battery look it up.

No need to look it up as I know that Deltran only makes Battery Tender products and they do not make batteries for automotive applications. Your asking why someone should care if their buying a car vs motorcycle battery ?? It falls under the right tool for the job principle along with the possible consequences when the wrong tool is chosen. When you take the battery in for warranty, ask them why the battery failed in your car .....

I'm curious now why you think it failed. I have my own theory but I'd really like to hear yours.
