I started playing 1.5 way back when. I played on a server with a few CAL guys. But I was usually dead last anyway. Then it was onto Desert Combat for Battlefield 1942 and eventually Natural Selection, another Half Life mod.

Overwatch is really a new generation of FPS. The maps are small and simple. And the rounds go fast. I like that people compare it to Team Fortress 2. But it's (almost) a different genre in comparison.

It is a steep learning curve, especially with updates every 10 weeks. Not only that, there isn't a go to place to tell you everything about eve. Learning the player politics is also essential. Joining the wrong group and having that on your alliance/Corp history can bar you from joining opposing groups for life. They are a laid back group that takes shit seriously. Also, best part, no kids screaming on coms

I hear you on the kiddies issues. I used to be big into play tf2 with a small handful of friends both irl and on steam. The kiddies got super annoying to me quick that we put money together to rent a server. Would play tf2 and killing floor just us. Haven't played anything MMO since then.

I've been playing My Summer Car all this week. There's a dedicated button for cursing and pissing, and a dedicated button for cursing while you're drunk. It's probably the most realistic Finnish Summer Simulator that I've ever played!

I just ordered an Alienware 13 (2016) with the NVIDIA 1060 and, for good measure, a graphics amplifier. I hope the amplifier will work with 10GBe cards. Can't find a solid answer on that. Only 8GB of RAM and 256GB of HD, but I'll buy the EVO 960 when it finally comes out. I guess I'll be going a bit nuts with the Steam sale coming up.

Oh... and of course, OLED. Biatch!

Played Dishonored 2 as Corvo. It was an upgraded version of Dishonored 1 which is no bad thing but I uninstalled because I couldn't beat the last boss. It just wasn't doing it for me. I was playing more as a fps than a stealth game.

Downloading Watch Dogs 2 as I write this. It was a bit of a whim. There doesn't appear to be anything new about that appeals to me at the moment. I didn't play the first one. I really like open world games. Just Cause, I'm looking at you. I like being able to wander about exploring.
