This thread hasn't been about cheap or easy mods since page one. Right now it's about flat earth proponents denying that lightweight crank pulleys affect man-made global warming.

Just plug the sound tube to stop the extra emissions from being released

I tried that once, but my ex-wife got mad and kept pulling the tape off. Apparently it was "hard to breathe" or something. I don't know; I wasn't really listening.

Fuck my job would be a lot easier if I knew what I was doing was just shooting stuff into the ceiling to get obliterated.

See how little people know. OP doesnt know there is a secondary 12v plug and your ex didnt know she would be just fine using her secondary sound tube

She REALLY didn't like me messing around with her secondary sound tube. Not even with a lot of lube, and especially not in conjunction with the aforementioned tape. She was kind of a prude about such things.

I guess some things really should be talked through first instead of being a surprise.

The very first change for your FR-S, imho, should be replacing the stock tires. I have upgraded to Yokohama Advan Sport AS 225/45-R17 on stock wheels. The difference in handling is like day and night.

My next planned upgrades are JR supercharger and oil cooler after the winter. I am skipping everything else until I see a need to support the super charger. I might just get a TRD catback to have a little bit growl that is lost after removing all sound tubes. But even that will wait until hearing the sound with JRSC.

In short, I recommend to be conservative and cautious. This is a very good sports car as itself, don't screw it.
