any updates on the center dash rattle? mine sounds like this:

I have the similar sound coming from the same area (dashboard). Anyone figured out a fix?

haven't found the time to take it apart yet... gotta remove a bunch of other stuff just to get to the HVAC controls

So from reading this thread I'm scared of how many god damned rattle spots there are... I have mine on the driver side by the speaker near the window switches... It's basically grown from hardly noticeable to god awful in a day or two... Sob

For me it's the HVAC controls themselves. I haven't found a solution. Even wrapping the damn thing in soundproofing doesn't seem to help. You can squeeze on it and hear the noise...it's just not fit together that tight it seems.

I have a very small rattle like noise coming from my dash, i already know what it is, it's my aftermarket radio deck. Just rattles a little bit, but with the music on i just don't hear it or anything unless i put to much bass and the door plastics start to vibrate lol. Overall doesn't bother me, it's way quieter than my 04 celica ever was, Couldn't even here people in the back seat with the radio off when on the highway it was so loud lol.

I've confirmed that my actual door lock (not the door lock button) is the source of a rattling on the driver's side door. In matter of fact, it only happens when the door is unlocked. Still waiting to see if there's a fix for it other than locking the door. At least it's a good security feature?

This sounds exactly like the one i found. For me it is the H like metal frame support just underneath the underside plastic of the dash. While driving stick your hand between the steering column and the plastic underneath where there is a small hole and hold down the metal frame to see if the sound stops. This is how i confirmed what it is.

I have a dome light rattle. I thought it was the doors but it turns out the dome light assembly goes nuts while driving. Anyone unsure of what is rattling, hold the assembly still while driving and youll prob get ur answer. Not sure how im gonna mute it though. Any ideas?

i have a few minor rattles under heavy acceleration due to deep exhaust note...but
barely noticeable. One that is quite annoying is the visor on the driver side, i just hit
it every once and a while lol

I have some minor rattles, but the one that annoys me the most is the driver side door rattle near the speakers. Oh man, that noise is worse than the engine chirping.

Dynamat around the edges of my window switch panel fixed my door rattles.
