Are those maps from a brz\86 ?? As the cam prasing depends on engine design, the actual cam phasors and the actuql cam grind\lobes. You cannot use cam maps from differnt engines jst wont work

Problem is different engine combustion chamber heads intake\exhaust valve sizes etc will all effect the volumetric efficiency throughtout rev range. Also the cam phasers are jist an offset on the reliarive positioning of the intake and exhaist cams which may be different lift and ramp to a brz cam. Basicly i have no idea how you would correlate the cam maps from a different engine and ecu logic to a brz\86 If your on ecuttek tunong you can set up some custom maps and use the ecutek blutooth interface to vary the intake and exhaust cam phase maps real time. Beats reflasging to test each time. Last edited by steve99; 10-15-2019 at 07:20 AM. |

If you use maf scaling tool to find better WOT vvt timings with forced induction, you 100% end up with extremely advanced intake and retarded exhaust, ergo ton of overlap and you consume a lot of fuel and lot of unwanted scavenging after the turbo spooled up
I d take OFT SBD turbo cams and start from them With turbo you want overlap at high load/low rpm, similar to a NA settings under 3600 rpm, but you need to taper off both intake and exhaust untill redline |
