The Bimmer has a tad higher pitch sound. M2 is an inline 6 twin scroll turbo? The Supra video sounds like a lawn mower.

Why are people so close to this car and not taking more interior shots? Seems silly to me

Wow I hope the new Supra doesn't come with a BMW interior. I think Toyota does a way better job from seeing their LC500.

I read somewhere that the new Twin will share the same platform as the new Supra.

Well, I read that the new Supra is secretly a Corolla with the engine mounted in the trunk. They just plan to send it down the manufacturing line backwards to make it front engined and rear-wheel drive. Then they install all the body panels and interior bits so nobody will the difference.

this, i wish someone would take photos of the back so we can finally put the 2 seater or 2+2 debate to rest.

If Supra comes with BMW I6 and you're planning to get one, you should stock up on every gasket, check for oil leak every 3 months. You think it can't be that bad, but that was also what my BMW owner friends told me when they got the car. It only goes downhill from when you get the car.

People who like dyno queens and quarter miles will be very happy Toyota stuck a beefy I6 in it, I bet someone has a 500+ whp car on stock engine internals within two years of release. We'll be seeing built engines advertising 600+ hp in no time. People will call it a GT-R killer and internet comments will be hilarious and dumbfounding once again like when the 86 was fresh.

But the B48 I have experience in was replaced under warranty with <20k miles on it, so imo fears of BMW reliability are justified, the only upside is the B58 has been on the road a few years now so the Toyota Z5 won't be getting revision 1.0 of the engine.
