I'm in the same boat. That cold engine/cold weather thunk on startup still has me worried so an exhaust is as far as I'm going to take the motor.

In other news.. I miss my BRZ already. I think I've had it in the garage for a month now (just under) and I already miss driving it.

I bought a shift ball for it. At some point I need to decide what exhaust I want to run next year. The next thing may be a tune.. I'm still not sure I fully trust the motor, so I have to decide if I want to risk voiding the warranty. Especially if they are talking about a power bump for 2015 models.. maybe I'll just leave my motor stock (other than intake filter and exhaust) and wait for a trade in on a 2015 model..
I forgot to add my car I would pick 100% of the time if the used market will be affordable enough is the new corvette. That car is 10x the car of all the cars I listed above.

I have horrible luck with subaru motors they are very easy to kill and everyone I have ever owned has needed head gaskets around 100k miles. On the positive side they are cheap to fix and easy to work on so you can break them and not go broke in the process.

It's offical I live near the hood... almost ran over a body in the middle of the road. Stopped ran out to check on him just as the cops pulled up looks like the poor guy had a heart attack or something in the middle of a cross walk.

Spotted a WRB BRZ heading west on 12 mile past Groesbeck around 730P this evening...was surprised to see one that far on the east side.

PS- I grew up on the east side of town and I'm always surprised when I see a car that's not a 1990's Pontiac Grand Am.

Hard Driven, Not Snow Parked

So heads up if you guys aren't aware, nature has been teaching a free master course in opposite lock the last week or so. You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven't checked it out.

Why would someone want to turn off the instrument panel?

The car will stop counting miles. It is a way to cheat the lease terms of only 12,000 miles per year. I have also seen people do it with new cars to lie about it when they trade them in.
