I have had good luck in the past with deformed thread lock nuts. They can be found at McMaster.

For those who have installed this kit themselves, about how long does it take to install?

Looks very simple compared to other turbo kits. I'd think the most PITA would be the intercooler right?

About 5 hours on my lift. Lining the oil return pump up took a little bit of time. It only fully seats when it's perfectly lined up, and you can't visually see the notches because its within the head

I also believe that is the biggest bi*ch, but even that was not hard. Lining up the exhaust was a bit of a pain too.

Mine fit perfect with zero issues. Stock overpipe though. No forcing or prying to get it right eiter

AVO Turbo Kit Owners Topic

Considering I already backfire during some shifts maybe opening the BOV and running rich is a bad idea til I get a better tune...
