Fine print says that should you drive it as badly as it can be driven, you won't get a discount on your premium. They specifically say your premium will not go up, and you won't be cancelled preemptively.

I can't stand this concept, and fear it will be mandatory before too long. When/if this becomes mandatory, someone will hopefully come up with a "hack" to trick the system. They will make serious cash and I will be right there with cash in hand.

1% off is half a tank for me! |

So far, for the FRS, my 6-month premium went from $372 to $310, and I paid $18 for the thing to the data vendor (Hughes), so I saved $44, or 12%. For my Tundra, my $273 6-month bill dropped to $176, so when the $18 is added, I saved $79, or 29%.
My FRS is getting C+ ratings on my driving. My Tundra gets C+ too (heaven knows how, it's not possible to drive the truck like I drive the FRS), but I drive the truck so much less. |

Buying a light-weight sports car and driving it like a responsible person is like paying $300/hr for a prostitute and when she arrives you say "I thought we could just cuddle"
Having your testicles cut off is not worth $10/month. |

Having the same conversation over here.... This new push by the insurance companies is pure bullshit.
