Has anyone else noticed this? I noticed it on my way into work this morning, though it looks more like the picture Khazzy posted than the one J-Money put up. When I push down on the right side, the left side pops up higher (and vice-versa). When I let go, I hear a "stick" sound, like glue letting go. Damn, J-Money, now you got me paranoid...I can't take my eyes off it.

You can feel the stick. No reason it cannot be fixed at the dealer.

A mirrored shade should lower the surface temp radically. Suggest you not get it "fixed" until it has cooled off. It will probably fit fine when it cools.

Im thinking of taking it in and getting fixed but i was wondering if anyone had this problem?
Just noticed this on Monday in 35+ Celsius with humidity 40+ degrees. May have to buy a sun shield as I don't want my dash to crack in coming years.

The sun does so much damage than what meets the eye. Sun shade, window visors, and tint is one of the first things I did to the car to keep the interior from drying and fading. I learned my lesson with my first car (1989 nissan 240sx). Perfect dash with no cracks. Started to not put the sunshade up after awhile and within a year, had spider cracks forming all over it.

If I owned it for longer than 3weeks/500 miles I would expect it eventually, but this soon has to be manufacturer error. I thought it seemed a bit odd and asymmetric, but now it seems more common. Mine is 2013.

For those with this issue, what's your vin #? I live in Michigan so we don't exactly have the hottest summers (though it was been 90+ for the past couple days) and notice my dash doing this as well.

i'm not having this problem with mine. it only has a little under 3k miles though, i've owned it since april. i'm from florida, but the car also came from the dealer with 35% tint, not sure if that helps.

in the 90s here.. that sun is brutal.. takes like 15 seconds to open my spring loaded fold away shade and lay it on the dash covering the speakers and the steering wheel too. have done this thru the years with all my cars.. never had a faded or cracked dash even in Texas for 19 years.. easy solution..

Tint would help, I would assume what's happening is the high temperatures must burn the adhesives off.

Just noticed my dash doing that today...it's been high 90's for the past few days. The rubber is like bubbling up but it settles once the car cools down with the a/c on.

Time to invest in a dash mat I guess.

It doesn't really matter what part of the country you're in. It gets hot as hell in the car, even with the windows cracked. I have tint on the back (where I can legally) and a reflective windshield visor up front. It keeps the car noticeably cooler and keeps the horrible sun off my dash.

I think the windshield has some kind of UV coating, doesn't it?
