Brake Rotor is loose!?
So I recently replaced my brakes with the StopTexh Brake kit. I installed the brake rotors, pads and braided brake lines as well as flushed the fluid. The breaks ha e no air in them and they feel great.
The other day i took a wheel off just to check the brakes to make sure everything stayed torqued down and noticed that the rotor had a little bit of play to it!? Is this simply because the only thing holding it tightly to the hub is the lug nuts themselves? Or did I mess something up? I made sure everything was torqued down to spec?

If it’s anything like my performance pack rotors, it’s just a snug fit on the hub and they can be moved with the wheel off.

The only thing keeping the rotor in place once you take off the wheel, is the caliper, which shouldn't be holding it so hard that you can't move it unless it is sticking.
So yes, that is normal.

Luckily we have the threaded holes in the rotor hat to insert a bolt and push the rotor off the hub.

In theory. Most rotors have them but I have come across ones on some junkers I drove that refused to budge. The car has to have reached a very special level of neglect but it happens.

Yes to the OP considered yourself blessed that the originals ones were easy to remove. I always put some Anti-Seize on the hub surface when changing rotors
