Actually thinking "Joey" has any intelligence is pushing the limits of common sense, even if he played Major Don West (but notice he was still "lost in space").......

Evans, why, why why........please stuff a sock in it,

TG USA, another waste of brain cells......nothing but "copy-cat" episodes from the Real Top Gear crew...

..long live Jeremy, May, and Hamster...can't wait for the new show to start.

I couldn't stand Evans in that one episode where May got to drive his California. I can't image having him host the show would be better. He's apparently a very well paid radio host so I guess he does that well; maybe stick to that.

I hear Daniel Craig will have more free time....

Chris Evans needs to tone it down a bit. I don't think he had to shout everything in the studio. Kinda got annoyed with that. The challenges were a bit boring. I like Matt le Blanc though during his segment. Knew what he was talking about and has a calm demeanor when talking while driving unlike Evans.

It took him like 45 minutes to pull out of the driveway! I would let James or Richard borrow my car, but Jeremy, hell no!

Matt is the only one I don't really have a problem with. Seems like cool guy with a bit of knowledge and a good demeanor.

What a conspiracy theory it would be if Jezza leaving Top Gear was all planned out from the get go, and Evans probably just got forced onto it by Aunt Beeb.

It's dead as a format. Has been for some time.

Stick a fork in it and come up with something new

^ Nope, the format definitely is not dead. The writing, producing and cinematography are still very much on point.

Having to listen to Chris Evans being a child is what kills this new Top Gear. I just watched the second episode, and he seems a bit toned down - however, during that 675LT piece, I could not concentrate on the car because he would not shut up.

Finished watching Episode One this weekend, my observations, your mileage may vary, and probably does:

Chris Evans is a yippy Chihuahua on speed. He gets one more chance and he's dead to me. That's what the skip button is for.

Matt LeBlanc is better than I expected and more in the vein of what I like about the show. He's a guy I could hang out with. Too bad he isn't on TG/US.

I like that there was more Stig. He/she/it was underutilized the last couple of seasons on the old format.

The main show needs more Sabine, less Chris Evans.

From what I've read apparently "Extra Gear" is more a hit in the UK then the new format main show. I don't see it. It just seemed like a "but wait there's more" attempt to keep audience.

I very much need to have an Ariel Nomad, and I'm not 100% sure why.

"Top Gear A to Z" which was a highlight reel for the old trio was more entertaining than any of the above.

Yes but only because it contained less chris evans, seriously they just need to get rid of him get an actual decent presenter that won't annoy everyone and I would keep watching, as of now, if Evans is on more than 5 minutes I skip the episode until I can no longer see him

Chris is annoying when he's all shouting and wild up. But when he calms down he seems to be ok. There was a segment on Extra Gear when he got sentimental and actually wasn't annoying. Unfortunately, Chris isn't going anywhere so we can just hope he improves. Matt looks like he doesn't want anything to do w/ the live audience. Everything else, he's quite good. I feel like they need to add another host to provide feedback and different perspective. Unlike others, I'll give the first season a chance to see if I'll continue as a viewer.

No, the dork needs to go. In fact, they should revise the program and not try and imitate the Clarkson, Hammond & May formula. The second show was marginally better, but only because I expected the worst after seeing the first episode.
